Kicks Karate Little Ninjas (3 to 6 yrs)
These action packed 30-minute classes focus on two very important areas of development for young children. First, we focus on improving their concentration and enhancing their attention span. We want them to learn how to pay attention and follow directions. Next, we work on fun drills that develop and strengthen motor skills (balance, coordination, agility, etc.). Our instructors teach using the philosophy of "Edutainment", which means classes are always fun, safe and educational.
Our Little
Ninja’s program was designed with four primary
goals based on the
developmental needs of this age
group:
1. To improve each child’s attention span:
a. By developing the skill of eye contact and the ability to concentrate
b. By enhancing first time listening skills and the ability to follow directions
2. To improve basic motor skills (balance, agility, coordination, etc.)
3. To prepare the children for our more advanced children’s program by enhancing the qualities mentioned above.
4. To stimulate, educate and entertain the students in a safe fun filled atmosphere for learning. This is what sets us apart from other schools. Children have fun in our classes and can't wait to come back for more!
You may wonder what makes Kicks Karate so unique? Or, how are we different from other martial arts schools? There are actually many reasons, but here are just a few:

You may wonder what makes Kicks Karate so unique? Or, how are we different from other martial arts schools? There are actually many reasons, but here are just a few:
We maintain a 6/1
student/teacher ratio in these classes
– We understand how important it is
to keep the student/teacher ratio low
enough to allow all of our students to get
the personalized instruction they will need to
advance.
All classes are divided by age and
skill level – At Kicks Karate we not only divide our
students into specific age groups, but we also
understand the importance of dividing them into
classes based on experience or skill level. In
this way, your child will always be in the
appropriate grouping to allow them to
excel.
Top Flight
Instruction – Our Black Belt
instructors are certified and trained by Master
John Bussard. They are trained in
the most modern and effective teaching methods
to ensure that all our students are taught
kindly, properly and
safely.
Flex-Schedule – We understand that kids are involved in a wide variety of activities, and these activities sometimes have very strict schedules. Kicks Karate offers parents the convenience of a very flexible schedule to allow for a wide variety of days and times to choose from.
Safe and Clean Learning Environment – All of our schools are professionally cleaned every evening to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for our students to train in. We understand how important this is to our students and their parents.
Very strict non-contact rule for students – At this young age it's sometimes difficult for kids to differentiate between when it's appropriate to kick or punch and when it's not. We solve this dilemma by only allowing the students to kick and punch at targets held by instructors during class time. They never ever aim at classmates or adults. In this way, we eliminate the need for the children to figure out when karate kicks are appropriate, and when they are not.
